JAWS screenwriter Carl Gottlieb was honored before the May 6th screening of The Shark is Still Working in Los Angeles, part of the Los Angeles United Film Festival. Mr. Gottlieb was immortalized by getting his hand prints set in concrete in front of the historic Vista Theater. A large crowd was on hand to show their appreciation for Carl, who has a long list of Hollywood credits including MASH, The Jerk, Caveman, Dr. Detroit and Clueless.

*UPDATED 4/29/10* Special Screening of The Shark is Still Working May 6 in Los Angeles

UPDATE – The screening has been moved to a much larger venue (The Vista, with a huge screen!) to enable more JAWS fans to catch the screening and see JAWS screenwriter Carl Gottlieb honored. Tickets already purchased for the Los Feliz theater will be honored at The Vista.
There is a special screening of The Shark is Still Working in Los Angeles on May 6th. Details below.

TSISW in New York – Oct 9-10

Any fans going to see The Shark is Still Working in New York tonight or tomorrow night, please send your pictures and video to tsiswmovie@gmail.com. After the success of The Shark is Still Working at the LA United Film Festival, the next two showings for TSISW will be June 12 and 13 at the San Francisco United Film Festival. Tickets are available now. Please note that the SF Festival is in its first year, so the venue is small.
We will be showing a slightly shorter cut of the doc at this festival. After four screenings in LA, the only criticism we got was that the doc was just a bit too long, so we have tightened things up a …
